Adjustment
Instructions
|
In order to achieve
maximum comfort and enjoyment from your new Derri-Air bicycle
seat, it's important to take the time to properly install and
adjust the seat to suit your own level of comfort. |
When installing your new Derri-Air
Seat:
- The mounting
rails should be level with the horizon.
- The horn of the seat should be
slightly tipped down.
Test the seat height:
- With your bike stationary, assume a
normal seated position.
- The
heel of your foot should lightly touch the pedals at the pedals
lowest position.
- Hip movement should be minimal while
pedaling.
It's easy to adjust
the Dual Air Chambers
to suit your own level of comfort or performance. |
|
Your Derri-Air Seat comes with a
dual nozzle, palm-sized hand pump - one end for inflating, the
other for deflating.
Hint: in a pinch, a 12cc plastic syringe
(without needle) will work, too. |
|
Locate the 2 air valves
on the underside of the seat (the little things with the red
collars). |
|
Insert the Clear nozzle
into the valves and squeeze the pump to inflate. |
|
Insert the Black nozzle
to deflate. |
Check the feel and
adjust accordingly to suit your own personal comfort.
Store the pump under the seat, in a saddle
bag, pouch, or purse.
That's it - you're ready to ride! |
